Free-sprited, native and free is how one would describe the aesthetic seen at Flannel’s spring 2013 show during Australian Fashion Week (MBFWA).
To go along with the designs was a hairstyle by Redken hair director Paloma Rose Garcia. This effortless style that perfectly fits to 2013′s hair trends is inspired by an American-Indian, Pocahontas-like look. Garcia mentioned that since Flannel’s collection has a lot of neutral colours, she wanted the hairstyle to look more natural to reflect the clothes.
The hairstyle is quite easy to recreate on your own, and it’s simple enough for you to wear it everyday. It’s perfect for the free spirited, strong adventurous woman: just like Pocahontas. Here are the quick steps on how you can have this plaited hairstyle.
